My grandfather was very sick when we admitted him in the hospital. The doctor informed us that he has very little time left with him. My grandfather wanted me to get married before he dies. But the doctor told us that we cannot take him out of the hospital. Since we had little time, I decided to get married that night only and planned to webcast of my wedding for my grandfather, so that he can watch it in the hospital.
We took permission from the hospital and arranged a webcast service provider, LiveStreamPro in this case. LiveStreamPro took care of everything; all the equipment, everything both at the marriage venue as well as at the hospital.
We webcasted the entire wedding proceedings for the benefit of my grandfather and he was able to watch the entire proceedings. I made sure to talk to him while the rituals were on. And immediately after the wedding we went to the hospital to take his blessings. He didn’t stay much longer after that, may his soul rest in peace. But I am happy that at least I was able to fulfill his last wish. I have always been close to my grandfather and to fulfill his last wish really meant a lot to me. And thanks to streaming technology he was with me through the entire wedding rituals.
The concept of Wedding Webcast was initiated for people who had relatives and friends staying abroad and who wanted their distant relatives and friends to be part of their rituals. Through webcast they could watch the rituals over the internet from anywhere. But now wedding webcast is being done for anyone who cannot come for the wedding, even if they are staying in the same city.
